| This seminar is for supervisors of personnel who work
in or around Confined Spaces in industrial facilities. Participants
in this program should have successfully completed the Confined
Space Entry Training Program for Entrants and Attendants before
taking this course. The seminar will enhance the
supervisor’s knowledge of the hazards and safeguards
associated with Confined Space Entry activities. This includes
coverage of the OSHA Standard, specific safeguards, training
of personnel and emergency response procedures.
The seminar involves classroom instruction, audio visuals
and discussions. A final quiz will be used to check participant’s
knowledge and understanding of the material. Upon completion,
participants should be able to:
- Describe the duties and responsibilities of the Confined
Space Entry Supervisor
- Describe the basic requirements of the OSHA Standard for
Confined Space Entry
- Describe the training requirements of Confined Space Entry

- Explain ventilation principles for Confined Spaces
- Describe gas testing procedures and equipment limitations
- List the training requirements of Confined Space Entry

- Complete a Confined Space Entry Permit
Limitations:
Completion of this program DOES NOT qualify participants
to enter or work in areas where IDLH conditions may be present.
