Safety Training for Industrial Supervisors

One-Day (8-hour) Safety Seminar
Course 19

The supervisor, as a member of the company’s management team, shares responsibility for maintaining a safe, productive workplace. In the past, a safe workplace simply meant a workplace free from the most serious injury-producing elements. Today, however, the supervisor’s responsibility goes well beyond serious injury prevention and into occupational disease and environmental concerns as well as fire and property damage control.

Today’s supervisor must be knowledgeable about loss control, watch over and inspect both the workplace and work procedures, communicate and enforce rules, address unsafe behavior and represent the interests of both the organization and the employees.
